It'sYaBoiH2 - "UNI" | Rap Nerd Reviews

ree

Before we get into the track-by-track breakdown, I wanna say this: UNI is a very personal album from H2. You can hear the two decades of writing experience all throughout the project. Some tracks dive into real emotion, and some just let him flex his pen. It’s a long listen at 17 tracks, but it paints a full picture of who H2 is as an artist. Now let’s break it down track by track.

1. HOEC (Let It AMPlify)

Strong opener. Festival-type energy with EDM influences. Clever bar with the Stan Lee / Marvel line. Big, loud, chaotic — sets the tone.

2. Talk Is CHeap

Started slow but picked up heavy in the third verse. Beat wasn’t my favorite, but the lyricism toward the end was fire. Showed his veteran pen.

3. Bread Winner

Dope beat. Very clear Eminem influence in the cadence. Lyrics were sharp, but breath control could be tightened. Some pauses felt out of place.

4. Tha Phoenix

One of the highlights. Emotional, poetic, and well-written. Last section felt a little unnecessary but overall a beautiful track.

5. I Need a Real Woman

Great message. Authentic and honest. Good energy, strong storytelling, and relatable content. One of the feel-good joints.

6. Mean So Much ft. MrGOAT731 & JSYF

Fire hook and solid features. Great contrast between hook and verses. Good chemistry between the artists.

7. GTFO

One of the hardest tracks. BAR HEAVY!!! Neptunes/Timbo type vibe. Great bounce, effortless confidence, and just a fun record overall.

8. FrEE

Clever concept with “free / fee.” Intense delivery and raw emotion. Very introspective and personal — he snapped.

9. Halfway House (feat. Bradster X)

Crazy beat, crazy energy. Bradster X blacked out — gave ICP vibes. High replay value.

10. MecHanix

Cool concept but the flow stayed in one pocket the entire time. Needed more variation and breath control. Lyrics still hit though.

11. Tha Last Time

Emotional storytelling about love and loss. Personal, heartfelt, and vulnerable. Solid record.

12. Hummus (feat. Bradster X & Amityvill3)

Pure horrorcore chaos. Heavy bar competition. Everybody brought energy. A dope collab.

13. tRance Holloway

Not really my favorite. Beat wasn’t my type and the hook didn’t grab me. But still consistent energy.

14. OmegAlphA

Great build-up, crazy flow, and strong energy. One of the standout tracks production-wise.

15. U

Heavy emotional record. The Drill beat with a Celine Dion sample was fire. He made it personal and not too trendy. One of the strongest tracks on the album.

16. SteaIin Time (feat. Forgotten One)

Motivational energy. Strong hook and good chemistry with FO. Another solid moment.

17. SANDals

Dope closer. Honest reflection, raw bars, emotional storytelling. Ends the album on a thoughtful note.

FINAL SCORE: 7.5/10

Strong lyricism, a veteran pen, emotional depth, and plenty of highlights. Some tracks could’ve been trimmed and a few beats weren’t my taste, but overall a very dope indie album. #RapNerdApproved
