Rowski "Rowski 4 Pre$ident" | Rap Nerd Reviews

Austin’s underground continues to prove it’s got heat, and Rowski is one of the names carrying that torch. His new 6-track project Rowski 4 Pre$ident is short, sharp, and straight to the point.15 minutes of hard beats, confident flows, and flashes of introspection. Representing Black Peace Core and the Ideal Collective, he blends his Corpus Christi roots with Austin grit, showing both his turned-up energy and his more reflective side. It feels like a campaign speech in rap form, stamped with the urgency of someone who wants the world to listen.

Track-by-Track

1) "Rowski 4 Pre$Ident"

Beautiful violin strings over heavy 808s set a cinematic tone for the track. Rowski steps in talking legacy and respect, chest out, energy up. As an opener it does the job to get the listener's attention.

2) Let’s Get It

High-octane turn-up with a sticky chant hook that’ll live in your head all week. He’s turnt up through this whole record. Big flex talk, big drums, aggressive bars. It’s the most immediately replayable joint on the tape and a smart switch from his usual laid-back lane.

3) Up - I Am Legend

The visual goes crazy (salute Najar Media). Rowski raps like he knows the camera’s on and he's ready to put on a show. Punchy pockets, quotables, and that “just call me Will” moment at the end that ties the whole concept together. It’s the perfect single: loud, catchy, and it showcases his charisma.

4) Done in a Bit

My favorite on the EP lyrically. He keeps some raw studio chatter in there, which adds that organic, in-the-booth feel. The cadence tightens up, the writing feels sharper, and the hook glides. This one proves he can talk slick and still keep structure.

5) 10 Toes

More poetic/spoken-word delivery—he plays with phrasing and imagery (“beautiful sound often drowns” is tough). Mid-song beat switch breathes new life into it, and he rides both halves different. Not my top pick, but the performance stands out.

6) Sunlight

Super reflective track. He's talking to God, lessons learned, getting right. Warm chords, roomy drums, and a calm pocket; it lands like sunrise after a long night. Dope way to end the EP.

Final Thoughts

Rowski 4 Pre$ident is more than just an EP... it's a statement that Row is ready to level up. In only six tracks, he shows much range, from club-ready chants to thoughtful bars about purpose and faith. The production knocks throughout, and the sequencing makes it easy to digest in one sitting. While a bit more polishing in the writing could sharpen the edges, the raw energy and authenticity shine through. This project cements Rowski as a voice to watch in Austin’s indie hip hop scene, and it pushes the Black Peace Core movement forward in a major way.
